Adventure Education (AE) is a powerful educational platform that provides a holistic experience that engages and stimulates the multiple intelligences – kinesthetic, visual, auditory, mathematical, spatial. It engages the physical, mental and emotional dimensions of the person. Through skilful use of objective, subjective and perceived risk, Ithaca engages each participant at the optimal level of challenge. The facilitation and reflection processes, discussions and debriefs are powerful and resonate deeply with real-life issues, enabling the participants to attain higher levels of awareness and competencies critical to personal growth, team and leadership development.
