Ithaca Pte Ltd was established as a company Pte Ltd in Singapore in 2006 by Farid Hamid & Geraldine Lee. Farid Hamid graduated with a Law Degree (Honours) from National University of Singapore and Geraldine Lee has a Masters (Forestry & Environmental Sciences) degree from Yale University. Between them, they have over 32 years in consulting, designing and delivering training programmes in the field of EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. This is our speciality and we do it with excellence. I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to Train & Coach Facilitators, Educators, Public & Private Sector Executives and Community Leaders in Singapore, China, Australia, Bhutan, Spain & the South-east Asian Countries

I graduated from the National University of Singapore with an Honours Degree in Law. After a stint as an Investigation Officer with the Singapore Police Force and Deputy Public Prosecutor with the Attorney General’s Chambers/ Commercial Affairs Department, he developed his interest in multicultural and experiential learning while working with Raleigh International in Guyana, South America and Outward Bound Australia. 

Geraldine Lee

My area of expertise is in Geographical Information Systems, and Community Forestry and Nutrition. I have a Master's degree in Forest Science from Yale University.  My bachelor's was in Environmental Studies with concentrations in Ecological Anthropology, and Ecosystems from State University of New York at Binghamton. I am presently pursuing further studies in Ethno Botany.

 

 My professional experience include:

1 Research Associate at the Centre for Remote Sensing, Imaging and Processing at the National University of Singapore

​

2 GIS Consultant at Black & Veitch Pte Ltd, Asian Development Bank & EnviroPro covering GIS-Forestry projects in Singapore, Aceh & Sikkim.

​

3 International Service Learning Project Manager at the Singapore International Foundation covering Bhutan, India, Cambodia, Malaysia & Indonesia. 

​

I design and deliver Environmental Programmes at Ithaca. I am also managing the Administration & Finance.

​

Yap Ching Wi

I have 22 years of experience in community building, social work and facilitation. Many of these years were spent with Volunteer Welfare & Community Based Organisations like the Tsao Foundation as well as community theatre companies like The Necessary Stage.

I also have experience working in Youth Development as manager at the Kong Meng San Phor Khark See Monastery - where I honed my skills in training and development, mentoring and coaching with the youth leaders.

Over the past 8 years, I have designed and facilitated workshops and seminars under the Community Engagement Programme (CEP). My primary areas of focus have been: inter-ethnic and inter-religious issues and relations and the strengthening social cohesion & resilience.

I have been delivering teacher training in areas such as multiculturalism and facilitation at the National Institute of Education over the past 5 years.

Elizabeth Teo

I am passionate about education, especially in Character & Citizenship Education (CCE) and Social & Emotional Intelligence. I believe deeply in holistic education and the importance of mental health & wellness. 

 

I have 6 years of teaching experience at Year 5-6 in the Integrated Programme at Dunman High School where I taught General Paper.  In 2012 she was awarded the Caring Teacher Award (National Level). In 2013, she received the same award at the school level. 

​

I have designed and delivered Emotional Intelligence Programmes for Nanyang Girl's High School. She has also delivered multicultural training for Onepeople.sg. 

​

I am a Certified Emotional Quotient (EQ) Advanced Trainer with 6seconds.org. She is a trained multicultural facilitator with Onepeople.sg and a trained Interfaith dialogue facilitator with Southeast Community Development Council.

​

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education following my Bachelors Degree (Honours) in Mass Communication from the Nanyang Technological Institute.

Jufri Osman

I have a deep interest and passion conflict analysis, conflict resolution, conflict transformation and mediation. I have 15 years in these areas as well as facilitating community development, social cohesion-resilience and multicultural awareness, c. I have been a mediator for 16 years, trained and active with the Singapore Community Mediation Centre and the Singapore Mediation Centre where he has mediated many community disputes. I was privileged to have been awarded the Community Mediation Centre's Most Outstanding Newcomer Award in 2014.

I hold a Maters Degree in International Relations (Distinction) with Bond University, Queensland, Australia and a Bachelor of Arts with the University of Western Australia, Perth (Aust.). I also have a Postgraduate Certificate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University, Florida, U.S.A. 

​

I am member of The National Honor Scholar Society, U.S.A and also a Certified Mediator, certified by Supreme Court of Florida.

​

I hold a Professional Certificate in Designing and Facilitating Experiential Learning and an Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) from the Workforce Development Agency.

Deeksha Vasundhara
